  77. WinFax PRO 7.0 Setup identifies the version of Excel installed
  78. on your computer and copies the appropriate file (either
  79. WFX7_XL7.XLA or WFX7_XL5.XLA) to the LIBRARY subdirectory
  80. in the Excel folder.

  82. If Setup detects both version 5.0 and version 7.0 of Excel on your
  83. computer, it installs the version 7.0 macro.

  85. If you want to install the macro in Excel 5.0, click Add-Ins on
  86. the Excel Tools menu and select the WinFax option.  This adds
  87. the WinFax command to the Excel File menu.

  89. To use the macro, click the WinFax command on the File menu.
  90. The macro records the current print driver, switches to the WinFax
  91. printer driver and searches the current document for the
  92. following named ranges:

  94. wfxFaxNum    The fax number to dial
  95. wfxTime        The scheduled time that the fax should be sent
  96. wfxDate        The scheduled date that the fax should be sent
  97. wfxRecipient    The name of the recipient
  98. wfxSubject    User defined information
  99. wfxKeyword    User defined information
  100. wfxBillcode    User defined information
  101. wfxMode        The transmission mode. One of: Fax, BFT or
  102.                 Compressed BFT
  103. wfxInfo        Temporary placeholder for information used by
  104.                 the macro.

  106. If the macro locates the wfxFaxNum range, it continues to search for
  107. the other ranges and concatenates the information using the wfxInfo
  108. range.  This information is transmitted to WinFax and the Excel
  109. Print dialog is displayed.  Select the appropriate print options
  110. and click OK to fax the document. Do not change the printer
  111. driver. After printing, the original printer driver is restored.
